The most pleasant temperatures of the season greeted Raceway 7’s fans and competitors for “Fan Appreciation Night”. At intermission prizes were given to many happy fans. Also prizes were thrown into the stands by raceway staff and drivers. On track the only first-time visitor to Victory Lane was Brent Rhebergen in the Zimmer Service Center E-Mod feature. Max Blair padded his lead in his quest for his third consecutive point’s championship by winning his sixth feature of the season after a slow start.

Evergreen Lake Park Campground FASTRAK Late Model point’s leader Max Blair started from the pole and had a quarter-lap lead over Ryan Scott by the end of three laps. Blair’s lead disappeared at lap six when Rob Bates spun into the infield. For the restart Blair had Scott and Columbus, OH’s Lauren Longbrake right behind. The restart didn’t happen right away as Justin Kreider, Bill Cunningham, and John Wyle piled up in turn four at the green. The next try was more successful with Blair immediately re-establishing himself as the leader with Longbrake second and Kyle Zimmerman third with Scott falling to fourth. With five laps remaining Blair led Longbrake, Scott, Dennis Lunger, and Zimmerman. Matt Latta charged through to fourth in the final laps with Zimmerman filling out the top five. Longbrake’s runner-up finish was the best ever for the young lady.
